Safer Sactown Cycling Class!

When & Where: Saturday, April 19, 10 – 11 AM at the Sac Bike Kitchen
Cost: FREE
Space is limited – RSVP to classes@sacbikekitchen.org

Join City Councilmember Phil Pluckebaum, City Mobility & Sustainability Division Manager Jennifer Donlon Wyant, SBK mechanics, and lifelong Sac cyclists for a conversation about riding the grid safely! Participants can pick up free bikeway maps, bike lights, and bike bells, and learn more about:
  • Basic safety tips, from helmets to lights to traffic laws
  • Recent, imminent, and planned bicycle infrastructure additions within District 4 and surrounding areas
  • What the signage and lights mean for car vs. bike traffic
  • Problematic areas and how to navigate safely
Space is limited so please RSVP soon. This is *not* a hands-on repair class, instead we will be providing chairs and beverages!
