<description>It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the 2012 Passport to Summer and Your Future Information Fair. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Oak Park Community Center in Sacramento, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Fair will also include information on current legislation and new laws for 2012.
The Passport to Summer and Your Future Information Fair will provide one-stop shopping for various programs in the Sacramento area. This year’s event will reflect the challenges our community is facing during these tough economic times. We will still showcase organizations offering information on summer, afterschool, and enrichment programs. The Fair will also offer information on education, vocational training, internship and apprenticeship opportunities, and family resources for both youth and adults alike.
Inclement weather has often been a barrier to having a successful event. We have decided to move the Fair indoors and bring it to the Oak Park Community Center. We want to make sure as many people as possible from the Sacramento region can easily access the valuable information provided in a friendly setting.
Please help to keep this community tradition alive by reserving a table, free of charge, for your organization at the 2012 Passport to Summer and Your Future Information Fair. In addition to showcasing your information to the community, you will be offering important resources that residents need.
I sincerely hope you will join me and agree to have a booth at this year’s event. I believe Passport to Summer and Your Future is an important resource to our community. If you have any questions, please contact my staff, Diana Cowan or Lori Catalano, at 916-651-1529. They will be happy to send you the participation form and waiver.
