The class will be free to all, but donations will be taken to support SBK. If you sometimes lack confidence on your bike, are a new rider looking for tips, or just want to brush up on the fundamentals, this is the class for you!

We’ll be holding our first Basic Bike Mechanics Class in the new shop at 1915 I st. on Monday, January 19th from 7-9pm.  $20 suggested donation, with a maximum of ten students.

Topics will include…

  1. Parts of a bike
  2. Flat fixing
  3. Common tools and maintenance supplies
  4. Adjustments for comfortable riding
  5. Cleaning a bike
  6. Lubrication
  7. Cable Adjustment
  8. Student Questions

The class will include lecture, q&a, and lab time to practice fixing flats.  Why spend $80 on a tune-up when you can learn to do it yourself for $20?
