LifeSTEPS at SBK

This Wednesday, March 18th at 6:30pm, Jennifer Savin (Regional Director of Social Services), will be visiting the SBK to discuss a community outreach program between LifeSTEPS and SBK. It’s a perfect time to get our neighbors and their kids bikes tuned up and ready for this Spring and Summer. This may include leaving the midtown area with the use of the portable bike fixery.

LifeSTEPS, Life Skills Training and Educational Programs, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. By partnering with property owners and developers, LifeSTEPS provides high quality supportive services to residents of affordable housing.

They serve a diverse range of people who live in affordable housing. Their clients are primarily low wage earners performing vital jobs in our communities. They also include retired seniors, disabled adults, and children, all living on limited incomes.

Many of LifeSTEPS' clients have few resources and fewer options. The services provided by LifeSTEPS help their clients maintain stable housing. Even more, they teach skills that allow people struggling with real-life problems find the confidence to succeed.
